Second part response

These images completely change the perspective of the image. Now we can see that the image of the girl is being painted by the small man. When looking at image 3 you are able to see every aspect of the women. Everything about the painting looks real, even the reflection in the eyes. The size of this painting is massive, it takes up the entire side of a building. It most likely took a very long time to make this because the person would have to spend such time with every little spot to get the detail that he did. The location seems to be is a part of own that is abandoned because you can see spray paint above the girls face. I think the title suggests that she may be the only person left in an apocolypse thats why her face is so emotionless.

The general purpose of this video is to show that most people are so distracted by their phone that all they care about is their technology and nothing else. The video was very effective in conveying its message. For example it was very powerful when it showed the girl jump to her death and everyone just took pictures while they could have helped her. I personally believe that this video was made to represent both a warning and a representation of our current social situation.  think it is a warning because it showed how by using so much technology can possibly lead to death. I also think it's an examination because in todays world, you will see that most people are always on their phone and not paying attention to the real world situations.

Cubism Questions

If I had to take a guess, I would say that around 50 photographs were taken to get the final result of the picture. I believe that the pictures were taken on separate days with different weather situations to enhance the quality of the picture. There is obvious signs that they used photoshop because you are able to see where they added the boxes and you can see the lines.

Response

These pictures have sort of a stressful mood to them. When I look at them I see that the girl on the bottom looks stressed while the girl on the top looks more sad. These images looked like they were painted using oils or they were put into photoshop. Coloring does play a role because it allows us to see shadows which can affect the mood. I think the artist was trying to show how they are good at using oils to paint an image that looks like it is photoshopped.
